Icarus
Youth who flew too close to the sun on wax wings, causing them to melt and him to fall to his death. Despite his father Daedalus's warnings, Icarus's ambition and wonder led to his doom. He represents youthful hubris, the danger of overreaching, and the tragic consequences of ignoring wisdom. Icarus also symbolizes the human desire to transcend limitations and the price of ambition. His fall warns against extremes while celebrating aspiration.
